Meh whatever. If it arrives, it arrives.

I'm still on the high from crafting sexy Monument armor for my Ritualist last night. Wish I did that two months ago instead of buying Deldrimor armor

Now....it's a debate between one of the following:

1) Get Protector of Tyria so I finally get r1 KOABD

or

2) Pay the GURU runners here 90k or whatever total price is for 40 Speedbooks to max out Asuran title to get r1 KOABD.

Which to choose?

I'm a bit pissed at myself for posting this deal here. Now they tell me they don't have it in stock, despite the site saying it was in stock when I ordered it and shipping out an order that was placed 90 minutes AFTER my order.

I should have waited until my order actually shipped before posting it here. I assumed hat having the confirmed order already in the system meant that my order had priority over those placed after it, but I guess that is not the case.

They said they "might" have it in stock by the end of the month.

Okay I just called and actually spoke with someone there and the claim is that the shipment from Europe was delayed and they never actually shipped any of them yet. The email notice above allegedly was sent because they made up the shipping label but was later canceled because they allegedly never got the product.

I asked if it was a price mistake and he said that yes it was but they only got 20 or 25 orders so they are honoring the price and WILL eventually fill all the orders when they get the shipment in 2 weeks or so. I asked why it said "in stock" when it actually was not, and he sort of talked around the question but apparently they expected the product to arrive around that day but it was delayed.

Some stores will put something like that on their site, in hopes you will buy it and when it turns out you didnt get what you wanted,they hope you decide its not worth the trouble and still keep what you got even if it isnt what you wanted in the first place.

There must be a lott of people sticking with what they got because monay places do it.
In most cases they will gladly send you refund or something similar, because by there is still a number of people they got money from,that might have never giving them money unless they saw CE.

I hope the best for you in getting what you wanted,I just thought it might be some interesting information.

I checked and they haven't charged my card yet. Which normally means the order hasn't shipped.

This is called "bait and switch" and is illegal in the United States. I have dealt with this vendor before and received the item that I ordered. They're not going to send me something different than what was advertised and paid for. Worst case scenario they will send nothing and refund the money.

Thats the point of what i was saying, For every 10 people that order they will probably get 3 that think just like you.But if they never had the thing about CE on their site. they probably would have never gained any money from you, since you most likely already had the normal version your getting.

Right, but they will either send me the CE that I wanted or refund the money. They're not going to send something ELSE. So yes they will gain money from me, but only by selling the item that they advertised for sale. If they don't have that product they will not make any money from my sale.

Since it was a price mistake and sold probably below their cost, they will not be making any profit regardless. In fact, since I have already spoken with them on the phone and had several email exchanges, they will have lost even more in labor from the price mistake on their website.

Assuming they eventually ship the product, they are actually being cool about it by honoring the wrong price. They are within their rights as described on their site to refuse the sale entirely.

I would like to point out that standard practice when paying with credit cards is to charge the card upon shipment. This is because you can just have the charge reversed if the item is not shipped. Every card transaction costs the vendor a small fee from the merchant service.

By the way the factions collectors edition was never advertised to give Kuunavang away it was added afterwards.
Also amazon has had them factions and nightfall coleltors editions for £16 for a good year

Not here in the US they don't. Obviously they are more available and cheaper in Europe and the UK, hence the reason why this US vendor is selling the import versions at a lower price. On Ebay before the import versions were offered, collectors editions go for $89 and up, and the $89 one is only the key and not the actual physical product or any of the other extras.

I found the CE editions of NF and Factions last night going for NZ$40 each, so I grabbed em.

I was last told about 2 weeks ago that they expected them in on 10/30. The site said pre-order, expected 10/30 on the items. on 10/30 the site looked like they had them in stock, but we know now this doesn't mean anything. I checked again today after still not receiving any shipping notice and they are back to pre-order with a date of 11/17, which is more than a month after my original order.

I am still hoping to get them eventually but I seriously doubt they will ever be shipped or that they will ever have them in stock, to be honest.
